James Pelrine Begins New Career at International Sound Corporation

BALTIMORE, March 7, 2012 - International Sound Corporation (ISC) today announced the hiring of James Pelrine as vice president of business operations in the Florida office.

Pelrine will work alongside Tony Sellitto, vice president of sales in the Florida office, to help grow ISC’s market share in the industry. Pelrine will fill a void left in Florida with the retiring of longtime executives Ron Sellitto and Dick Pollard.

Pelrine, an alumnus of the University of Arizona Racetrack Industry Program, served as director of simulcast operations for Ocean Downs Racetrack in Berlin, Md., for the last 11 years. “I am thrilled to be joining the ISC team and begin my new career here in Florida.”

“We are very excited to welcome Jim to the ISC team. His experience in the racing industry is invaluable to us,” said ISC President and CEO David Snyder. “We are committed to our Florida office and continuing the long-standing tradition of service to our customers, and there is no better person to assist in this process than Jim Pelrine.”

ISC is a full-service provider of turnkey Color Video Tape Patrol, Color Closed Circuit Television, Satellite Transmission and Simulcast Systems as well as Public Address and Security and Surveillance systems for the racing industry, including off-track betting and off-track wagering systems for more than 50 years.

After acquiring Teleview Racing Patrol, Inc. last January, ISC now provides services to more than 70 racetracks including all three Triple Crown tracks (Churchill Downs, Pimlico Race Course and Belmont Park) as well as Del Mar, Saratoga, Gulfstream Park, Oaklawn Park and Monmouth Park.
